Week 1 Predictions

1. Rams vs. Comets ***Game of the week***
   In my opinions the Comets are underachievers and are one of the best teams in Town Beef!  The Rams have won all their pre season games and it's rumored that they have some fast receivers and a deep passing threat.  They also have the biggest mouths in the forums but thats not gonna win any game sin TownBeef.  If the Rams can match the Comets speed they'll also have to contend with their size.  Envee is not a hi profile QB but he's getting better every time I see him and runs that Comets offense well.  The Comets Defense is extremely fast and physical.  I'm going Comets in this one.
    
2. B.I.C vs. Outlawz:
   I know nothing about B.I.C. accept they are friends with the retired Trenton Running Back (E.Fox) and I'm sure eric only chills with fast people.  Westbrooke plays on the Outlawz and creates havoc from his RB/QB position.  I'm sure he'll find the endzone in this game enough times to beat the B.I.C.
    
3. Liners vs. Falcons:
   The Liners have one TownBeefs greatest backs in Big Nig and an unsuspecting Outlawz defense will be put to the test in trying to stop him.  The Liners sport 2 packages on offense one featuring a beefy running game and the other featuring the Hefty Lefty in Carty.  They are one of the few teams that commit to the run and they do it well.  The Falcons QB controversy has been the problem with their offense in the past because they have physical characteristics to match up with most teams just not a good signal caller.  Cnthandlethetruth from the Ligers will be calling signals for the Orange and Black.  He's got a good arm and calls a good game.  I think he's got the leadership the Falcons need but not enough to get past the Liners.
    
4. Pound Squad vs. Head Hunters
   Going on a wim I have a feeling this 2 teams have similar characterisitics and thats pure physical domination.  This may look like a WWF match more then a football game with DMS and his Head Hunters showing the Pound Squad they can match up physically with anyone.  This game will come down to who has a better QB that can put points on the board.  On a wim, I'm going with the Pound Squad.
    
5. Spartans vs. Lightning
   The Spartans tossed the Falcons and Lightning lost to the Liners.  I know nothing about these 2 teams so on a guess alone I'm going with the Spartans because they're from NJ baby.

Week 1 Predictions

1. W.C. vs. Comets ***Game of the week***
   The Comets find themselves in back to back games of the week as they match up against the highly talented Wrecking Crew.  Already blessed with great size and speed the W.C. picked up some of the key players from the Broncos team making them even better.  Rumor has it that Ferriol (ex Bronco QB) will be calling the signals on Sunday and if that's the case I give W.C. a huge edge.  If not this will be a nail biter right down to the finish but I'm looking for W.C. to edge out the Comets.
    
2. Bombers vs. Liners
   The Bombers traditionally come out in the fall brawl understaffed but that didn't stop them from advancing to the championship in last years tournament.  The Bombers will need to find team chemistry with their new personnel and will have to do so quickly in order to ward of a very good Liners team.  This is by no means a tune up game for the Bombers, they will find themselves down at some point in this game and will need to come up big to edge out a victory.  Speaking of Big, Big Nig has given the Bombers fits every time he plays them.  If the Bombers can establish the run and stop the run as they always do they can beat the Liners.
    
3. Preds vs. Lightning
   The biggest news coming from the Preds ball club this year is they'll be without superstar running back E. Fox but don't be fooled, this veteran team is stacked with talent and they have some of the best team chemistry in the league.  They picked up #33 Lordi (All Beef LB) to compliment 2 other great linebackers in Willie Beym from the South Side the Check Republic and A-Rock who is notorious for layen the Hit Stick.  Dymes will be callen the plays with trusted receivers in Troy, and Big Play Jay.  The Lightning came out firing on all cylinders in week 1 pitching a shutout to the Spartans and putting up 3 scores.  A solid performance.  This should be a close game but experience is the tie breaker and I'm going with the Preds.
    
4. Head Hunters vs. SE Boyz
   One of the most interesting match-ups of the week.  The SE Boyz are notorious for their tremendous speed on offense lead by receivers Jookz, and PMB.  They're tall 6'4 receiver Ceaz will Moss most DBs in the league.  When the SE Boyz take to the ground its the small, shifty, stocky speed demon Quan that can turn the lights out with his moves and 99 speed.  The Head Hunters are a defensive team, whenever DMS, Predator, and Assasin are lined up on the other side of your offense you know you're in for a long hard hitting game.  As good as the SE Boyz offense is thats how good the Head Hunters defense will be so we got a stalemate right there.  I know little about the Head Hunters Offense but the SE Boyz defense has had some holes in the past.  I'm really on the fence with this game but speed kills so I'm picken the SE Boyz.
    
5. Outlawz vs. Shockers:
   I hope to see some old faces from the once dominant Shockers team that played in Beef Bowl I.  After a disappointing Fall Brawl last year the Shockers opted out of the 07 regular season due to injuries and other personal issues.  If the Shockers were back in regular form they would be the favorites in this game without a doubt.  Drama to Blue shorts was one of the best passing tandems in TownBeef Period!  The Outlawz pitch a shutout in their first game and riding a talented running back in Westbrooke I think they'll be a force this year.  The Shockers traditionally don't have a lot of speed and so once again speed kills and I'm going Outlawz here.

Week 1 Predictions

1. W.C. vs. Head Hunters ***Game of the week***
   You had to know that DMS would round up a hard nose squad with his partners in crime The Assassin and The Predator.  They've been muscling their way through the fall brawl so far but this week they'll be up against a team with just as much beef and possibly more skilled men.  I'm not sure how good the Head Hunters offense is but I can bet they're not ready for Jason Taylor, actually I don't think anyone in the Fall Brawl wants to see him.  JHova is a great saftey and with the pressure being upplied up front they silenced the Comets in last weeks match.  This might be the most physical game of the Fall Brawl so other teams can rest assure that at least one of these teams will be gone.  I think at the end of the day WC will still be standing.
    
2. Liners vs. SE Boyz
   The Liners have no weakness on their squad right now and they're playing great team defense.  The front 4 or very solid in stopping the run and Mimz has picked up the slack in the secondary.  All in all the Liners play hard for each other and they got some really good team chemistry.  The SE Boyz offense was like a track team last year.  Great receivers and a very shifty running back in Quan will give any defense a headache.  The Liners will need to commit no turnovers in this game and prevent the big play.  I'm liken the Liners in this game.
    
3. Rams vs. Preds
   This game is the Big Mouths against one of the inventors of Trash Talk.  The Preds don't have that flash anymore that they had with E Fox but they have some mean linebackers and a really good secondary.  Running the ball for the Rams will be very difficult so they'll need to be on point with their passing game in order to beat the Preds.  The Preds will need to stick to the run game in order to keep the Rams dangerous Offense off the field.  If they can control the clock and stop the big play they'll knock out the Rams.
    
4. Bombers vs. Razorbacks
   This new team the Razorbacks is a great new addition for our league.  They're a class act and they take football very seriously.  They have a playbook, I've seen the dude readin it on the sideline and when it comes to speed they can match right up there with the SE Boyz.  The Bombers will be missing G. King, L. Beast, and Poore this week on defense.  Their offense look below par in the first half against the Liners last week but most importantly they edged out a win to stay alive.  The Razorbacks don't have the size up front like the Bombers do so if they can't stop the run they could be in for a long game.  Look for this team to be a force in next years regular season but I think they'll get eliminated on Sunday.

Week 4 Predictions

Head Hunters vs. The Liners
The Head Hunters had to crawl through the Pound Sqaud, the SE Boyz, and they just beat the Fall Brawl Favorites the W.C.  They've been picked to lose all 3 games and came out on top.  This team has something to prove each week.  They key on being physical and flying to the football.  The Liners have went from being the possible Cinderella team off this tournament to being the favorite to move on in this game.  They outplayed last years Beef Bowl Champs but came up short with a few key turnovers and then beat the SE Boyz convincingly.  They have great team chemistry, the loudest sidelines, and they're playing the best football I've seen from those lunatics out in the sticks.  I'm going Liners.

Rams Vs. Bombers
People keep saying, "the Rams aren't that good but" and then comes the laundry list of their fast receivers and big armed QB that is pretty fast.  The Bombers lost the Fall Brawl to a team last year that opposed a similar threat and lost.  The Rams are a legit team and they're finding their rhythm in this 7 on 7 game.  After struggling in week 1 all of the Bombers weapons were on display with 7 TDs coming from 6 different players.  The defense only allowed 1 score so they're coming off a good game.  The Bombers need to run the Rams down and keep the QB on his toes forcing him to do things with the ball earlier then he wants.  The Bombers will need to put together a perfect game to advance but I think they are poised to do so and win this game.
