All season the Bombers had to use their size and strength to match
up in a league where speed was a common attribute on all teams.
Ironically the Bombers would have to take on a team that featured
more size then they did in the Beef Bowl. The Shockers D Line
and 3 man front style gave the opposition problems all year and so
the Bombers had to be quick to the point of attack to outlast the
Shockers.The Bombers blitzing attack kept the Shockers Deep
passing game in check but opened the doors for "Big Nig" to have a
career day in rushing yards. The Bombers Defense played their
"Bend but don't break" defense and kept the Shockers out of the end
zone for most of the day limiting them to only 1 score. The
Shockers came with the right game plan to destroy the Bombers
unblemished record but could not execute it for 2 complete halfs of
football. The Bombers deceptive offense hung 4 scores on one
of the top rated Town Beef Defenses leading to a Beef Bowl
Championship 4-1. Contradictions to the Bombers for winning
the First ever BEEF BOWL! |
