| 2006 was an exciting year for the Junior Midget
Leprechaun team. These boys faced adversity from the start of the
season with uncertainties if
their roster would meet the minimal requirements for Central Jersey.
Thanks to the Pee Wees donating 3 players to our team we were able
to play our schedule. Week in and week out the Junior Midgets faced
the toughest teams in Central Jersey that had 9 or more older
lighters and did so only having 2 home games. The Leprechauns
offense featured a balanced attack spreading the ball out to its
receivers and backs. It's defense, led by a fierce set of line
backers punished opponents at the point of attack. The Leprechauns
won their opening game for the Mayors Trophy with a convincing score
of 19-6. They finished the season only 3-6 with 3 of their losses
coming by a touchdown or less. I'm proud of you kids and the way you
stuck your nose in there every play earning your respect each week.
I'd like to thank my assistant coaches Holmes and Fil for sticking
with me and our team till the end. I'd also like to thank my team
mom for all the cupcakes, help with phone calls, oh yeh and for
replacing the clip board I broke on my head during practice. Liz
Catigan was a huge help. I would like to thank Danny Ronan for
helping me each week at the games with the refs, weigh ins and all
that fun stuff. I couldn't have done it without him. I also want to
thank Mr. Robinson for his ESPN filming skills and for helping us
break down the footage in the civic center. Last but not least I
want to thank you kids for a season I will never forget. Not only
have you kids become fine football players this year but you have
also become fine young gentleman and I'm proud of you. I will always
remember you kids and I'll be watching you at the High School Level,
hopefully some college, and if you make it pro you better get Coach
some tickets. Don't forget what football is all about fellas,
DISCIPLINE, PRIDE, SACRIFICE, TEAM! |

| Man what an amazing game. Sayreville jumped out 14
zip early but Millstone jumped right back in it with a score before
the half and then returning the opening kick off for a TD in the
second half. Big plays big plays and a "can you top this game" took
place in the second half but Millstone outlasted Sayreville for the
victory 27-20. |

Millstone Vs. Sayreville
The Sayreville Junior Midgets won their home opener against a
Millstone team they will have to play again for the last game of the
season. The Leprechauns kept millstone out of the endzone for
most of the night and with 2 quick Scores from HB Cureton. QB
Chris Drabik capped the assault when he found his favorite receiver
Dan Ronan for a score. |

| The Leprechaun Junior Midgets won their game opener
against Millstone for the Mayors Trophy 19-6 but then dropped their
next 4 games to Franklin, Fords, WWP, and Edison. 2 of those
losses were decided by 1 TD. This video was against Old Bridge
and all though our Offense didn't put up huge numbers (1TD Dan Ronan
42 yard reception) the Gang Green Defense lead by Jordan Robinson
and Kyle Anderson shut down the opposing team. Good job guys. |
|
| In last weeks game against OB the Leprechauns were
looking everywhere for answers on the offensive side of the ball and
came up with few but it was clear this week that the speed to the
corners from Robinson and Cureton gave Hopewell more then they could
handle. The Gang Green Defense only allowed 1 score. |
